Karelian Gold Project.
From 2009 we have been concentrating our efforts in the Achaean greenstone belts along the Hattu–Ilomantsi and Kuhmo-Suomussalmi in Eastern Finland. As a result of intensive field work in this area eighteen drill targets were generated. The project contains three groups of prospects:
- – Kuhmo Group (Piilola North, Piilola South, Piilola-2, Roninlampi, Palovaara, Naurispuro, Putaala, -Likosensuo, Teerisuo, Ylä-Vieksi, Niitylahti, Ensilä);
- – Ilomantsi Group (Paasivaara, Paasivaara-2, Viinivaara, Purola);
- – Suomussalmi Group (Rutisuo, Hossa, Kivelä, Kuikka, Syrjälä).
Total area 3097.21 sq.km.
Reservations 2911 sq.km.
Ore prospecting 186.21 sq.km.
